I ordered the 9th of Aug, and my build date is the same as yours...

Well, sort of, you sure your build date didn't shift to the 24th?

My build date (verbal only from sales manager and Ford 800#) is November 17th so I'm about a month behind you.

Going further back in this thread you'll see that several of us got our build week scheduled for the week starting 10/17. Then a few weeks ago we were given an update email that we are now scheduled for the week 10/24. So far nobody has posted they got moved. So, hopefully our build week sticks.

The pain of dealing with local dealership. Submitted an order for a 23 XL Aug 10th, basic truck only option was trailer tow package. Days and weeks go by while I see all the others on the forum receiving e mail confirmations from Ford on order accepted. Contact my assigned sales rep and ask "what happens next/now?, most others receive an e mail" I'll let you know... A few more weeks go by and still nothing, just looking for a confirmation of an order at this point, still sales rep has nothing. End up calling sales manager and Ford 800 number both of which confirm order was submitted Aug 10th. Weeks go by again, e mail sales rep, still nothing. Yesterday I called sales mgr at dealer again, he asks what my email address is and says "oh, they forgot the "o" in your e mail address so you haven't received anything, I'll fix it" and says build date is 11/17. Called Ford 800 # this morning to get correct VIN and sure enough get the attached screenshot. Since they goofed my e mail address up and I never received any e mails from ford I have to check order status manually everytime I log into MyFord.com until the next update comes through.

Question, with an Aug 10th order date for a base ranger XL with a tow package Nov 17th build date seems to be behind others submitting on or before the same date, true?

Nov 17th or Oct 17th.
Those posting in this thread that ordered right around when you did are scheduled week of 10/24.

You guys are lucky that ordered your rangers one or two months ago because today you can’t even put an order in at all with the 501A package. I’ve been trying to order a Ranger for two weeks now and three different dealers said they cannot because of the 501A problem.

I think the Lariat 501A could not be ordered the day the order banks opened!

Wow!!!! I’m used to the waiting after the order but I’m not used to waiting “”to order”” when the banks are open. I guess it’s kind of the same situation of the LED headlight issue.

I feel this is true. Tried to order 501A and chrome package in mid August with no luck. I’ve been checking in periodically with my salesman for availability to order, still no luck…

Has anyone tried calling Ford customer service to get an updated build date? I haven't heard of any recent build date moves in the form, but I'm just curious as I have called in the past. I don't want to call and jinx it lol

I haven't heard anything outside this forum other than that email many got about being moved back to the week of the 24th.
