It's in 2 places in FORSCAN. My understanding is that the place that shows the BMS (Battery Management System) is what really disables it, by turning the BMS off. I did both at once.

The FORSCAN Wiki shows them both.

I was concerned about shutting BMS off and possibly cooking my expensive AGM battery, but a lot of people have done it both through FORSCAN and disconnecting the plug on the negative terminal and don't seem to have any problems.

I did it with FORSCAN about a month ago, along with a few other things. Don't have any problems at all. It's simple too, don't have to edit hex codes like the old days.

So you are confirming that you found this setting and was able to change it with Forscan? If yes, which module is it located and what are the changes you made? I have another friend who wants to do this.

Did you add it to the Forscan thread?
I found it in the forscan thread.
There are two parts. One in the bcm to actually turn it off,
And the second in the icp so it doesnt show up as an option anymore on the dash.
I will post pics tomorrow if my forscan trial has not ended.

I used this thing. Works really good and is a pretty straightforward procedure to enable and disabled the auto stop/start.

Ok so that is where i found the ass

In the bcm it does say battery management. I disabled anyway, been driving two months and have not noticed a change in anything other than the ass doesn't come on. Yay!!

The other part is the gauge cluster. It just removes the option from the menu. Under that menu it would say auto start on working normal, or not working because of something being plugged in , or drive mode or something. Its just gone now. Yay!! It was in between the miles to empty and the multiple display screen. Gone now.

Sorry, i do not know how to get the photos in order

As part of my pre take off ritual I hit the automatic start/stop button and shut it off. I'm old school, I like to listen to it idle just to see if I can notice anything out of the ordinary.
