I have arthritis pretty bad in my hands so it's kinda hard for me to grab some small items and just wondering if I'm going to need a special tool to remove those clips. How did you remove them?
No special tool. I just used a small flat head screw driver. Once you get the center portion lifted up, it pulls right out. So easy that you don't even damage them and can reuse them if needed.

Between yesterday and today, I installed a tonneau cover, tailgate damper, oil catch can, performance intake, and somewhere along the way screwed up my AC.

Today, I installed my Husky floor mats. That was easy.

Then, I decided to install my MBPR cat-back. Not so easy. They make it look easy on the videos. But, they usually have a lift and are standing up. I was on a creeper, with the rear of the truck on ramps. Still not too comfortable. There was one clamp, at the downpipe... I don't know how ford got that thing on there. Where they put the nut, there was no room for a tool to tighten it. Well, I'm sure in the assembly process, there probably wasn't much around it when they put it on. But, I had to use a breaker bar, when I finally got a wrench on it... in the 1" of space I had to loosen it. Took forever. Then, one of MBPR's clamps suddenly loosened, while tightening it. The nut had become cross threaded or something and the whole bolt was turning. It was a bitch to get it back off and rethread it. After that, it went okay. But, shouldn't have taken as long as it did. Fun!
Sounds like a good time! Back when I did mine, I didn't have an issue accessing the clamp on the downpipe (must have not been oriented like yours was) but getting the stock intermediate pipe off the downpipe was a wrestling match that took about as long as the rest of the entire install. A lift would have been great for that part. That MBRP system sure is nice though!

I love it, so far. I meant to see about getting a recording of sound for somebody, but keep forgetting.

Finished the front end mods.
Putco grill for the lower opening
Plastidipped lower valance - stock light grey just didn't look right in my opinion
Tow hooks painted blue
Installed an extension cord for block heater from the passenger side to drivers side of the lower valence opening, and tucked the male plug behind the tow hook boot. In winter, I'll pull it down out of the boot so I can plug in the truck on cold SD nites.

Nice work! Your rustoleum job on the tow hooks is much better than my plastidip. I am a little disappointed in how mine look. A little better once installed though. After the inevitable Taco recovery or two scars them up a bit, I might have to redo them. ?

The adhesive on the rubber piping on my Bushwacker Fender Flares was failing in a couple of places on two of my flares so I removed the flares - lots of mud in the flares where the seals failed. I cleaned everything up and will likely beg and plead with Bushwacker for some new piping. I’ll let you know how that goes.

In the meantime, I’m kinda diggin’ the sleeker look and the poke my +15mm offset and 275s are creating. Part of me misses the aggressive bolt-on style flares but part of me is sayin, whoa! nice stance Bro’. I’m torn between putting them back and leaving them off, buffing out the abrasion marks left from the flares and hoping it doesn’t look too Bro’-ish.

Help me out guys - which way do I turn?
Well, Bushwacker said they would be happy to sell me a rubber trim replacement kit for $50 so I ordered 100’ of 3/8” 3M double-sided tape for $10 and fixed the trim on my fender flares.

After a couple of weeks without the fender flares on my truck, I grew very tired of cleaning mud off my mirror housings, windows, and canopy……ALL the time. So, this morning, I put the Bushwackers back on and I like the look.

Got tape?
