Thanks all for the links. I ordered and installed one for my xlt as well. It just looked so wrong looking at the engine all naked. Looked unfinished. I was surprised at the material it is made of. It is like a tough foam that is flexible.
I had thought about painting it with high temp paint like I did for my mustang v8 engine cover. Just to make it look custom. I didn’t dare apply paint to the foam cover...
Any guesses as to why Ford selected a flexible engine cover for the 2.3’s in the Rangers?
