How about something like this that you can cut to fit as needed? You could put it in when on the dirt and remove when not needed so it wouldn't trap water. I have used it to seal up gaps on other projects.

Yup. It's (mostly) not the weight. It is the air resistance/speed. I'd have to agree with this based on what others have posted and what I experienced towing my car on a trailer this summer. Wind resistance must be a BIG factor. NW Indiana to NE Tennessee for a car meet. Mostly flat...

Trailered the car on a 1125-mile trip for a car show. Truck ran great, no issues at all.

Towed my car to a Fairlane Club national meet this past weekend in Kingsport TN. First time towing with the Ranger and performed well with no issues. It does have the tow package. Engine temp gauge barely made the halfway point in 85 degrees, though I wonder how trans temp was. Anyone know...

I like Shelter Green Metallic, but I may be biased. :cool: It looks similar to "Black Jade" as Ford called it in '69. Same color was called Dark Metallic Green in '70. The light really makes a difference on these tones.

Unfortunately, only a 351W 2V. Hope to get a 4V intake/carb this summer. Was able to clean things up under the hood after I got it. My 1st Torino back in the 80's was a non-GT with a 390 4V that was a real 'sleeper'.

Finally got some warm weather here, so kicked on AC driving home, but it's only blowing cold out the two passenger side vents (?), warm on the drivers side vents. Had temp set the same (~65) on both sides. It was doing it at lower fan speeds as well as Max AC. Moved up the pass side temp...

I don't commute daily where it's needed that often, but when needed, I just set it in the tray on the dash, have had no issues with it getting read

Well the switch was working this AM and light goes off now. Not sure what was with it last night, as it didn't go off when switched that way

So went to the store tonight, and driving there the dome light stayed on the whole time after leaving home. Usually goes off after 15/30 secs once started. Went in, got my stuff, still on when I got back and on the whole way home. Parked in the garage, on for 15 mins or so and finally went...

Nice Torino @blackc200. I'm kind of partial to them as I have a '69. A couple questions for you on the tow. Did the U haul trailer require a brake controller or do their trailers have surge brakes? Also what drop was used on the tow ball? Can't tell if you have 4x4 but these bumpers do sit...

Went with Magnaflow. Nice lil burble at idle, killer sound at WOT, Not 'ricey' at all.
