SOLVED: Engine Shroud Cover Missing On XL and XLT Trims?

I used 2, 6x16 mm stainless washer head bolts. Worked fine and Dealer charged me 33.00 for the cover.

Did you install with 2 bolts? I see 3 areas with threaded attachments.
I parts guy I ordered from didn't know how many bolts were needed. Nothing on hardware listed. So maybe I'm paying for more bolts than needed.I believe the cover lists for $45.
He probably has 4 bolts ordered which would come to $76 with sales tax.

Also, I thought 3 bolts were needed because in the pic, there are 3 threaded areas where I thought the cover attaches. One in front and two on the left. Only one on the left is used.

I called to only order two bolts and was told the bolts only come in 4 packs. I canceled the bolt part of the order and will buy bolts at Lowes or HD.

Looks right.
Having not seen the cover close up, it does look like 2 bolts are needed. I wonder what the 3rd threaded area is for.

Installed the cover. Looks great and I believe engine sound drops a bit.

48 bucks for cover and bolts after tax .. just saw 76 bucks and 6 dollar bolts .. dealer ripping somebody off .. my cover be in tomorrow

The cover and bolts was 94 bucks ... but I bitched enough that I got it down to 75 bucks which I’ve seen in the forums .. the studs go down with a 13 mm wrencnh .. tge nuts are 10 mm.. don’t try to not use oem parts the way it’s made it’s best to use oem.. you end up with 2 extras ..sell those here for a couple of bucks help the next person out .. that way they need only the cover

You ended up with extras? The bolts and nuts themselves are backordered.

I want to order the engine cover but can't get the mounting hardware.
