Wondering how many transmissions failed while the site was down

I gotta tell you, mine is behaving better than ever! That multiple fluid change and LubeGard Platinum worked wonders. Started the fluid changes (incl LGP) at 18K, did 3 at 1K mile intervals, the last one when I added the PPE deep pan and did a filter change which got me to 92.5% new fluid.

I had a 99% improvement after the first change, and the very few bits of rare funkiness were gone by the 3rd change. I just clocked 26K miles, so the last 5K miles completely normal, and the last 2-3K behaving as good as or better than new.

And the kicker is that with the addition of the MBS dipstick / funnel I have perfected the fluid change process to replace >=7.5 qts** in under 45 minutes without spilling a drop, and can check and achieve the correct fluid level with 100% accuracy using a cold start measurement. And it's all done by simply lifting the hood! No fuss, no muss!

I think I'm gonna keep the truck for a while... got most of the big problems resolved.

This weekend mine started shifted poorly from 1 to 2nd on multiple occasions. and one of the higher shifts just hung between gears for a second while I was mildly accelerating. Got to tow this weekend to Garysburg, so we'll see how that goes. I need to connect Forscan one day and log while it's doing it. Or at least see if there are any pending codes.
