Hello all,

Last night the gf brute forced the seatbelt and got it stuck some how. How do I un-do this? I have tried and tried tugging on it opposite ways to try and get it straightened but I’ve never seen a clasp so tight with no wiggle room..

Warm regards,
Brandon

Like @Tom_C says, keep trying - this used to happen on a company car I had - drove me nuts. I had to pull the belt out so I could place it on the running board and stand on it. That way, I could use two hands to muscle it free. Good luck Brandon.

This wouldn’t be necessary if you didn’t suffer from severe muscle atrophy due to having a tailgate damper - just sayin’

Hmmmm, it looks like you put some Velcro pads on there to keep things from bouncing around while off-roading. They might be getting in the way and causing things to fold over - just a thought.

try to clamp one side of the seat belt to the clip then with one of those plastic drywall knives push it in there and see if it flatten out

and I am a little upset someone got to the girlfriend joke before me.

Very true, I actually did not add this mod. Factory done. Appreciate the help Duke, it has been bugging me over the last few days and brute strength to normal is not working. But I have not attempted the solutions here yet. Probably later today or tomorrow :3

Hey Mark, thanks for the different solution. Will go through this list at the end and work through each one.

Hah, oh Mark. You crack me up.
