FYI , if you do ever run out of fuel , Rangers have a small emergency fuel tank located under the hood, it has a manual gage (yellow handle i think) to tell you how much is in there ... holds over 6 qts I believe ? ...it's a pain to suck it up outta there though...

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Jerusalem Artichoke, Peasoup and beans will solve your no-gas problems.
7/11 burrito and a warm Budweiser will do the same

My 2 cents.

in town, go as low as 1/4 tank, if you have to.

On the road? Soon as that needle barely clears the 1/2 tank line find a station!!!

Let's see, fuel gage, miles-to-empty display, odometer, trip odometer, Ford Pass app. If these all go bad, your are surely going to run out of fuel.

I've been reading that If you run it out of gas it just stops and won't crank! Has anyone ran into this issue? Any idea on how to prevent this from happening?

I'm just already stressed out from running out of washer fluid and I don't want another issue to worry about!

Man what a perfect thread to see who understands sarcasm and has a sense of humor... and the shocking amount who don't.:crackup::crackup:

not sure when you looked down to see 0 to empty, but you should be looking down more...
I have gone 20+ miles past 0 so by the time you actually run out way TF after 0 you really pushed it, I can only assume they give a good buffer! like 30 to 50 past

The way to solve this problem is on your way to work stop and fill up the tank and get some coffee and donuts. Then both tanks are full! Problem solved.
