Tells you how bad Ford doesn't want you to run out of gas. They give you an extra unknown reserve:wink:
Tells you somebody filled up all the way to the top of the filler neck, maybe.

I’ve seen a fuel pump melted to the bottom of a plasr
I’ve heard something similar - that the fuel pump in the gas tank is cooled by the gas in the tank and that running the tank too low can cause big problems.

Is it true or BS? I don’t know but I don’t want to find out.

My truck warns me at 80km remaining and again at 40km. That’s plenty of time for me to do something about it.

That should be all you need but if you’re often in the middle of nowhere, carry a can of gas in the back and make sure you have that little funnel on board.

ive seen a fuel pump melted to the bottom of the tank from repeated low levels then the pump failed. She continued to crank until battery failure.
