not really....passed a couple slow moving vehicles this morning. :sunglasses:

I was taking it easy for break in....driving more "normal" for me now. See what happens. I plan on resetting at 1500 miles.

I do not get right up to a red light and slam on brakes...that's for sure. if I see light or someone turning, i just let off on gas pedal and coast. I am very easy on brakes. I believe that is the key. Hell, my 2014 F-150 had 70k miles and I was on original pads.
I also don't floor it on take offs.

I keep the auto/off thingy enabled. no reason idling for 30 secs at an intersection, wasting gas.

Those were parked cars!

Seriously...I drive the same way. I see so many here doing 50 to a red light then the nose of their car dives down as they get closer. They must go through brakes every 6 months! I've laid into it a few times (love hearing the turbo) but mostly driving easy at least for a few more miles. Your mpg's are impressive though.

Yeah, got into it once on the way home...got to 4k rpm. Got to 70 real fast..

Im sure it will drop a little now that break in has passed, but expect to stay over 25.

Man 70 MPH is turtle speed on the highways where I live lol. That being said I guess I’ll report currently averaging 19.6 MPG in the Ranger. Almost 10k miles, probably 60/40 City Highway, Auto Stop/Start Disabled always, hauling tools/equipment 60% of time 500-1000 lbs. Been a brutal summer so remote start w/5-10 minutes idle time most trips, AC constantly on. Driving style moderate/aggressive 80-85 highway speeds typically
AEM Dryflow Drop In Filter (No effect on MPG after 4K miles)
GFB DV+VTA (been on 300 miles with no drop in AVG MPG)
In the spring before needing AC constantly AVG MPG was a steady 21.6 with

The power is smooth and very quick for a 4cyl that's for sure. I went for a drive the other night and laid into it a bit and was doing 85 but honestly felt like 45 it was such a smooth ride. I really have to watch my speedo as it's easy to be going well over the speed limit with such a smooth riding truck. I'm sure my mpg's will get better as soon as I can use the stop/start feature. AC will be blasting for at least another 6-7 weeks here.

I’m not complaining about my mileage at all. I was seeing great mileage during break in and the first 1K after break in. Then I started leaning on it a little more . I love my Ranger, haven’t second guessed my decision to purchase one time, and getting over 19 MPG avg with how I drive is outstanding. I am also coming from a Crew Cab Silverado daily driver that sucked down 12 MPG of premium so I’m thrilled with what I got

I'm getting 18.6 mpg right now, which is good enough for me. I barely reached 17.5 in my 2016 Explorer lol.

Thing with me is, well, I am quick at a stoplight, I drive.. assertive, it's mostly city driving or driving in traffic, AC is always blowing in Hawaii, start/stop is pointless (car turns off, only to turn on again 1-2 seconds later due to AC (making me wonder if the starting doesn't actually use more gas than saving for that 1-2 second).

I'm not unhappy with it lol. That said, a few weeks back I drove it a lot and mostly highway, out of traffic (which is amazing considering this island is one big gridlock) and got 22-23 mpg.

I have been getting 23.7 mpg for my dailey drive to work and back and around town, mixed driving. This weekend we traveled over 400 miles. Went to Wakulla Springs, Tallahassee, Apalachicola, Panama City, & back home. Mixed driving:

I'm at close to 500 miles with my XL SuperCab, have been hovering around 26 mpg.
80% between 45-55mph, 10% slow backroads and 10% 70mph highway.
Driving very consciously through break-in, slowing on uphills and accelerating on downhills. Hyper-miler competition anyone?

I'm in! So far my peak is 443miles (with a couple gallons to spare in the tank still) @28.0mpg on a tank. I've seen one guy got 563miles @30.9mpg on a tank (using 91 octane). That'll be hard to beat, but maybe we can still shoot for the 87 octane crown! haha

91 octane, 8k miles, avg 40mph puts me at 22.9 mpg.

I'm more of an agressive driver too, highway cruise control set at 80, passing whenever I need to, treat stop lights like people are trying to race me a lot lol.

Overall very happy.
