I am now down to 17 city and 20 highway after 23000 miles :(
the last 2 tanks are up to over 20 after hanging at 18 or below...it's much warmer now so I'm blaming cold temps on the recent drop

I am on my third tank of 93 octane (I first did regular then middle grade for a few tanks) and am only getting 17.9 or so mpg. Most of my miles are around town to work which is not very far. Also I am very curious as to how accurate the mileage to empty is on your trucks? It will say 25 miles to empty or 5 miles to empty. Has anyone gone over the 0 miles left mark?
Thanks,

If you set the readout to instant you can get 99 mpg by letting your foot off the gas pedal.

Groo here
Just made a parts run for BIL,,, 80mile one way 2hr trip.
Dmode up S mode back, country state routs slight hills Max speed 55 temp 32, gas 87... 875mile on truck.
Cruse when can.
Set trip when leaving both places,, [don't use overall mileage counter ,it includes city average, low]
Going up , 25.8mpg ,truck free wheels a lot [shows on instant mileage readout]
Coming back in S got 22.7mpg. [3mpg hit]
The trans shifted at higher rpm and stayed in gear longer, no free wheeling, tight responds
to right foot!!
What I saw is , there is no torque lockup in sport AND you never get to the top 2 gears [9/10]
Fuel burn does not very much unlike in D..
Engine lugs under 50/55 in D but not in S [not in top gears]
For best mileage I believe S for speeds under 50 without cruse, D for over 50 with cruse.
That is for Ohio type driving......
Next trip I will try D and Tow/haul.......
You can lock out gears in D sometimes I will lockout 9 /10 if it seems like its lugging press - on button on ± shifter button once to activate then once to start locking out. You'll see gears numbers start disappearing on center screen on instruments cluster. Likewise press + to add them back

Getting better. Tuesday took the same exact road trip that I have taken on multiple occasions this past winter getting 22.5 mpg. Tuesdays trip I got 23.8 the only difference is that I had the a/c on instead of the heat.
