MTB had asked me to design a proprietary funnel specifically for the Fitzstick...this is what I've come up with...this prototype is a 3D printed proof of concept with a integrated hook to provide hands-free stability against the cowl seal...Mike will get quotes for production...probably be injection molded and will include O-rings for seal at the bottom insertion end...who knows what color they can be made of...

What do you guys think of this accessory? Do you need one? Of course you do! ?

Along with this, I think Mike should consider putting my earlier oil fill funnel design into production...it fits great but I wouldn't trust a 3D print not to snap off in the middle of a fill...this over-sized oil fill funnel has the same locking mechanism as the oil cap so it's also hands-free...and of course it would fit all other Ford with the same oil fill fitting...

Looks great.. I printed this one and I like the larger diameter of yours.

Are your STL's going to be available?

It's not yet, but maybe in the future...I've been working on sharing certain files at Thiniverse...others for sale at Cults but nothing started yet...

To be honest, like I said, I wouldn't trust a printed funnel...it could snap off at the head and leave you with a stuck part that would be a nightmare...you wouldn't be able to cap your oil filler...

@Msftoy looks great!

I got one of these for oil for $20 off Amazon:

I own that funnel as well. I modified it slightly to fit both my 2005 and my 2020 Ranger. Makes oil changes cleaner.

I would purchase the dipstick funnel if you decide to produce them.

I like this idea too. My plan was for whenever I get a dipstick to use a old squeeze pouch from a amsoil or Valvoline gear lube and add some 3/8 hose onto end to fit into dipstick tube

Would a tight seal at the bottom make it not flow well? I mean, most OTC funnels have a rib to prevent a tight seal so it can vent as you pour.

The transmission is vented, I want a O ring seal so that when filling it wont leak out between the funnel and the top fitting.

Used a free harbor freight funnel and some scrap pvc tubing. Fits well, works great, and very inexpensive.

I’ve made several specialty funnels over the years cheaply. My best is for filling the transaxle on a John Deere garden tractor. There’s really no way to get to that one. I heated and bent pvc pipe to make that work.

I most likely would not get in line for a Fitzfunnel, just too many really cheap ways to do this.

BUT....it would not be a GenUine Fitzfunnel....
That alone would add at least 3-5 extra HP...

So if it pours right in without 'burping', put me down for one with my dippity stickity.

Interesting. I would be more interested in STL files, then I could tweak it to my liking.

Got my installed with the new transmission. Being able to fill and check levels is a game changer.

This is the funnel type I use with our FitzStick. Good fit. No mess. Like two bucks from wallyworld.
