Just done mine and I had to use 1/2” extensions and ratchet with swivel from top. Some gorilla from ford factory put that bad boy on. It’s friggin tight. It’ll break loose.I went down in a blaze of glory trying to install my fitzstick. I was able to access the transimission cap without jacking up the truck (tremor). As everyone says there isn't a whole lot of room when coming from underneath and i could not manage to budge the cap loose with my shortened box end wrench. So I got my 2ft 3/8 socket extension, put universal on it and then the socket to get it loosed up top from the engine bay. I couldn't budge the thing, putting all i had into trying to break it loose. I didn't attempt to put a cheater pipe on it, afraid I'd break the cap. I will need to get a longer extension if I want to try an impact. Anyone else have a hard time getting the cap removed?
BTW, truck is newish 2023 with 7500 miles so its not all corroded. Its like they installed the cap with red locktite.
