Out with the mudflaps and swapped on these small fender flares. The fitment of the corner markers is not great. I may have to shaved them a bit to get them to sit flush. Otherwise they look OK. I may or may not keep them. Maybe find some kind of extension for the front bumper area.

Yes, they are Bushwhacker OE style fender flares, but textured not smooth. Bushwhacker is made by Lund. If you order Bushwhacker it's very likely the box will actually say Lund on the label.

I have the full size smooth flares from Bushwhacker/Lund and the side marker lights fit perfectly.

Ah I see - thanks for that! Looking at flares that are low profile so good to know those two are basically the same.

Finally done. Horns and air supply finished. To say the new Ranger is space limited is an understatement. Lots of fabricating of brackets and tons of fittings, lines and wiring. Took a little over 2 weeks to figure out, wait for parts and make everything work. Had to make my own brackets for the horns. Separate the compressor from the tank. Fab brackets for the compressor and tank. Remote mount the air filter for the compressor. Run a quick connect for air.

Just in time for summer. Took forever but I finally got my heated steering wheel project done. Last parts, and most important, were the terminals for the heating element to the spring clock. Wired up the relay module to the corresponding slots in the side of the spring clock on the column. Installed the 6 way switch in the 12 volt socket. Wrapped the element around the stock wheel and wrapped and stitched the aftermarket leather cover over. Gave me the look steering wheel lock I wanted on top with the perforated leather. The wrap wasn't prefect and wasn't made to stitch the very bottom so I'll wrap it with something I find later. Unfortunately, the wrap was a bit short to wrap the entire thing so I had to compromise between where the wires go and the uncovered area

Have you posted a write up or how to for this somewhere? I found a similar leather wrap kit on Amazon for the Everest/Ranger and I'm curious where you grabbed the heating element from. Any help would be appreciated.

That post is more or less the write up. I got the element on ebay.

Gotcha. Any info on the pin inserts to the connectors? As in what size pins went into the connector in the steering wheel and what size went into the connector on the column?

Reading your thread makes me want to upgrade my TB now! Just can’t believe you can buy a brand new one from ford for less than 60 bucks.

Finally got it close to the Avalanche gray color I originally wanted that Ford didn't offer and this was cheaper than doing the clear vinyl ppf. 3M vinyl.

I just spoke with livernois a minute ago and spoke with Anthony about going with a larger throttle body and he said multiple times there wouldn’t be any benefits of going with a larger throttle body and that the stock size TB isn’t a limiting factor as far as making more power. Would you disagree?
