Has anyone looked into the upgraded mirror gears?

Where do you find those? I don't see anywhere, let alone how difficult it might be to take apart the mirror arms to upgrade the gearing.. ? I know some people have mentioned during cold weather the mirrors sometimes don't unfold.

Serious question. Who uses their folding mirrors on the ranger specifically?

I use it about 90% of the time when I park at work, I want to give fellow vehicle owners enough breathing room, so they don't consider swiping my oversized '2020 truck :S

I’d still use it. When I pull in my garage I have to fold them in, but then I have to put them back out to see how close to the door I am. I think that rules me out, that much usage is going to wear them out too fast.

New member here. I'm definitely interested. I couldn't get to reading all the pages of this forum, but from my understanding it's a plug and play so the mirrors will auto fold? Do you have any other info about it? Sorry if it's already posted in the forum.
