I bought it from member RC Mustang who was importing them from Australia. At least he was until Customs came after him for duty he owed. Haven’t seen him in a while.

Well, auto can mean at least 3 things:
1. automatic
2. automobile
3. autonomous

But really, I think it's just to distinguish from manual fold mirrors, like when I go thru a car wash
I have to get out to fold the mirrors in.

Ahhhh....so when you go thru a car wash, you "automatically" know that you'll have to get out and manually fold the mirrors in...whereas the "automatically folding mirrors" on my Ranger have to be manually activated by pushing a button !!!
NOW I GETS IT !!!

Check out RedTek.com.au as an alternative. I purchased the combo mirror/windows module. Works great. Fold on lock. Unfold on Acc. There was a coupon code in the forums somewhere (20-25% off). Was $160 altogether.

I have their kit on mine (& central locking tailgate kit), it's same, simple install, choice of when they open, and work perfect.

Mine has it listed as Auto Fold. Push Button to activate. (wish it was tied to ignition, but I can see why they wouldn't want that also)
