I’m in FL, but here’s a pic from my buddy in Kirtland Ohio this morning. Another 5-7” on the way he says.

that's about 30 minutes from me. He's in the "snow belt" an I'm just west of it an it's a different world for snow fall for such a short drive.

East side makes a difference. I’m from Chesterland originally and it seems the further east you go the more snow. Heard Ashtabula has over 24” so far. I was up there in early October and had on shorts and flip flops the whole week. Was even in the low 80s clear up to Niagara Falls.

Yeah, well i will say we got 25 inches of snow overnight. NE Ohio.

Ranger not good when snow is over the bumper. Lol.

FYI, RAM 4x4 equally worthless with snow over bumper.

I guess the real question is how does the truck handle with the stock Hankook tires, I haven't bought new tires yet and I'll be up in the mountains in about 2 weeks
I'm on my 3rd Winter with the original Hankook's. They've done their job in the snow on 395 going up to Mammoth/June Lake, and offroad in the dirt/mud/snow around the Owen's Valley. I will probably have to get new tires before next Winter though.

Has anyone had a chance to take their new 2019 Ranger out in the snow yet?
in SE Lower Michigan we just got our first real snow of the year. about 7" in my area.
Mine still has the all-weather tires on and they suck. Putting Goodyear Duratec tires on instead.

We got 48cm (18 inches or so) and I was on the road all day. Ranger did great was pretty happy with the handling and was able to bust some snowbanks up to 70cm (27 inches) with momentum with no problems. Glad we have a metal bumper lol.

You can see my diff and skid plates in the snow :p

Yeah, it was pretty deep in Toronto - don’t see a plate up front - guessing you’re in Quebec - I stayed out of it - nowhere to go for me anyway - took it easy and came up with a new meaning for “working from home”. ?

Had to make a grocery run yesterday for a couple ingredients for dinner (cooked up a pot of jambalaya).

roads were 99+% clear and dry, but the occasional pesky packed snow/ice sticking around in shady spots, and places where the plows didn't quite follow the curves in the road.

and my driveway...ugh. totally clear and dry except for a little patch of ice under my rear tires from melt that had collected and refrozen overnight. Had to engage 4hi to make it up my driveway. I scraped up the ice and sprinkled a bit of salt in that spot to stave off the re-freeze situation overnight again.

stock hankooks aren't any good on ice, for sure. I really tried to feather the gas pedal to creep off the ice patch before climbing up the hill. nope. any amount of power on the accelerator and the tires would slide.
