Ha, in 92-93 when Ford was doing a minor design on the T Bird, they came to California for design input and ended up taking back like 10 big gulp cups from 7-Eleven, (32 ounce) the 94 Birds had one big and one small cup holder, so Ford has got it right in the past.

I would be happy if at least the one in the door was bigger, they are all the same size, too small!!

I had to get a smaller water bottle, just dumb, designers only drink from Starbucks cups?
Ranger designed in Australia... They use Boda Bags not cups in the cupholders ..

I can't do really high humidity anymore but here it's just to dry most of the time. What's such a shocker is it was just in the mid-upper 90's about a month ago we don't get a gradual transition into fall (or spring) anymore.
Its so stifling.

There are like 2, maybe 3 months out of the year you can sit outside and enjoy yourself...

I half joke the best thing for Florida will be sea level rise.... Wipe. It. Off. The. Map. Lol

That's how it seems to be getting here. We use to be outside right around Valentines day through mid May then again mid September through mid December. Now we're lucky to get 6 weeks both spring and fall where we get ideal weather to enjoy being outside. Sure it's better than some places but now it's not worth suffering through 3-4 months of 110+ temps.

Where in Florida did you live?

It really can be beautiful here. But the mosquitos, black flies and heat make it miserable.

And don't forget the tourists and snowbirds that forget that this is South florida, and we do have laws governing which lanes you can turn from and the far left lane is not the right turn lane...

Shrug, there are also people who spend more than 15 minutes in their vehicles.

Shocking, I know.
64 oz is the amount of water a person requires in a day.

I'm virtually positive you aren't driving 12 hours a day.

Ohh, and try Utah, we're full.

It's like the prospective new hires we bring in for a ride along. We tell them to bring plenty of water and these idiots show up with 1 gallon jug.

I never lived there (grew up in MA) but my parents had a house on Marco Island for over 20 years. It's really nice down there but way to expensive now.

Don't forget the fire ants and love bugs. The first time I saw them (love bugs) was crossing over to Miami on Alligator Alley. I thought we were driving into a black hole and never going to return.

Don't forget the heat !!! For several years on the force I was a motor cycle cop. Hated it during the summer. One piece of necessary equipment was a kickstand plate. It was a "must have" so your kickstand didn't sink into the asphalt !!!
If you rode for pleasure, you rode either in the morning or late afternoon....never during the middle of the day.

So in your mind, I shouldn't carry a Nalgene because that's not what you need to carry around?

Some of us drink more than 64 oz a day.

Of course not, feel free to be as ridiculous as you'd like.

In my mind bitching about your cup holder not being able to hold a vessel containing half a day's water supply is silly for most people and most drives.

Again, if it so important, why did you folks not purchase another vehicle?

Might want to see a doctor, excessive liquid consumption is a sign of diabetes.

Just use a smaller cup for fitting in the holder and keep a gallon jug in the back. :p

I think we have debated the need for water enough - please cease this bickering or this thread will get locked.
