I never do any work without my extra hand , that way I don't have to put down the tools to make the actual gesture, just saying it or yelling it without the actual gesture is usually not enough to make things work in my case...

Same part # but different tags ? DE (D for driver maybe?)was drivers but HD is throwing me ... Ford oddities...

The rear shocks had weird colored pencil marks , they all match except the center one... secret Ford code i guess 🤷

Last bolt was a little challenging and needed some tugging to line up the marks but no biggie ...
The hardest part is trying to manipulate everything by yourself, disassembly is easy but a buddy working the jacks and ratchet straps and handing you beer underneath instead of my old ass crawling in and out would make it MUCH EASIER...
test drive later and I guess if I can keep it in the road it's all good ...

The springs are side specific:

PN
KB3C-5311-HD - Left
KB3C-5310-DE - Right

I assume it's the placement in the tower and the left might have a stronger spring - for the extra weight (Gas Tank) - if we reflect back on some owners enquiring about the body lean

Hmmm , so i should be able to adjust my left side a turn or 2 more if needed...

I lined them up best i could and the springs are coiled different...
