Well i started yesterday when I posted and just now dropped it down ...
Not counting lug nuts or strut nuts/bolts that you would have to do anyway, it's only 2 bolts per side ... I probably have 2 hours in the first side (lots of beer breaks last nite) and probably 1 hour this morning of actual work ... with help on reassemble , it woud be pretty quick to line things back up ... just having somebody to move the knuckle assembly around would make a world of difference...

And not sure of the money I saved but doubt it exceeds the body damage that was caused ... (mine , not the trucks)...

Good job Robert!

Do you think it would be easier to reassemble if the rotor and calliper were pulled?

They are crazy heavy and simple enough to R&R. I will need to service my Fox setup soon and I’m thinking about going the LCA route.

Maybe , the lighter the better most likely... and an extra person with a long spud/pry bar could work everything back in pretty easy without Jack's and ratchet straps imo...

Well my dumb ass didn't take any before pics or measurements so I'm not sure where I'm at... I did have to jack it up more to get the wheels on so it must be taller...
TEST DRIVE ! drives straight and no pull but my steering wheel is just slightly off center now , but i was getting an alignment anyway so no biggie ... it might be possible to mark them more precise than I did but it's pretty hard to keep them perfect while trying to torque them...

Good Job! I'm going to be lowering my Eibachs from 3" to 1.5" - 2" when I finally do it.

I am deep in the middle of trannie cooler work right now. Designing the fan plenum right today, putting it on card stock for fitment, and then transferring the pattern to aluminum, and using my metal brake to fold it to form.

The plan then is to install the cooler and fan assembly on a skid plate, and test fit the entire piece to the truck frame and transmission mount.

Then is it time to temporarily remove it and to bleed a little, removing the old transmission heat exchanger and installing the PFTE hoses with AN8 fittings to the transmission, the remount the cooler assembly and finish the chose routing to the cooler assembly.

Start the truck and test for leaks. If all goes well, I'll then mount the fan controller and wiring, the fluid temp sensor, and program it.

Then test to see if I actually built something that will cool my transmission to the temperature range that I targeted. While I have it apart I can swap out my headlights and grill, but I may just update the bulbs. Got a set of Auxito Y13's to test.

Then take a small break resting sore muscles....

Then it is front shock time. I'll be following your install method. I have a 2 post lift and floor jack to make it a bit easier, but it will be just me doing the work.

Thanks for posting the pictures. It helps me visualize the work effort and methodology.

Looks good to me. I like the way it looks setting level.

Time for some bigger tires. If that's what you like. I dont like the way mine has the Giant gap between my rear tires and top of fender well. And I went 2 sizes taller right after buying mine.

All 4 or just the back? All 4 I hope.

200 lbs in the bed solves that problem...

And the whole damn thing is a little too high as I had extra air under my foot when I stepped out...
I went with larger tires at the same time and at first, the view from “way up there” was quite noticeable and getting in and out sure was a bit different.

Like so many things, you’ll get used to that extra nose height in no time.

You should try and locate Michael’s ex-wife and have her ride shotgun so you won’t have to adjust that coilover. Just a thought.
