I’m not sure why Ford opted for the white ABS sensor wire on the driver’s side.

I noticed it before the front level, but now that the front level is done, the white cable stands out more than before.

This may be a stupid question, but is there any potential issue painting the white visible portion of this cable black? Is there a certain type of paint that would be best to use or avoid?

No issues painting it. I'd just get a Krylon rattle can and hit it with that.

Cut it off...replace it with a stainless braided cable...

The more I think of it why not just a piece of black plastic tubing? Make a slit down the side and slip it on and a couple pieces of black electrical tape to hold it and you're done.

I'd prefer black plastic tubing. It will provide additional protection as well.

I got into a serious pickle last year when a tree branch decided to poke a hole in my brake line.
