As the title says, what is everyone upgrading their non b&o crewcabs to? Any other older posts about this subject seem to veer off topic. Also side question...

Would putting a amp for the front speakers only be worth it since we really don't hear the rears

I'm still on factory "non B&O" speakers. I upgraded my head unit to a Linkswell t-style and it was an amazing sound upgrade. The factory speakers aren't that bad when properly supplied. I'm still going to throw them in the trash for something better down the road. The Linkswell has a built-in DSP which makes tuning a breeze.

I have the B&O already and its (OK) not perfect, but at my age now it works.

It appears the Linkswell is a good option now that some of the bugs have been worked out from the first installs.
But if wanting to keep it simple - here is an informative link series of install.

Note: This is a FULL Series of videos of the install

PowerBass makes drop in speakers. They're on my list.

An amp will always help but... if you're getting one, get a 4 channel so you can wire up the rear later.
Being that the powerbass are 60 watt rms how do I know which amp to use?

I couldn’t tell you, I don’t know enough about audio.
Your best bet is to talk to someone at Crutchfield. They carry the PB speakers and they have a team on standby.

I have a 2022 super cab and I upgraded my system with a Audio control ACM-4.300 amp and JBL Club 6 1/2 component speakers front and JBL Club 6 1/2 2 way rear speakers. A noticable improvment over original system.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to the audio world and so I'm a little confused by your comment. What do you mean by that? I hear my rear speakers just fine with the stock setup. Few systems that I have had, in other vehicles, I could clearly hear my fronts and rears.

I meant as in the fronts are dominant in sound production for which our ears hear

I have been looking at that unit myself. So I guess you like it?!
