There is no adapter atm. I would imagine a few more months there will be.
Does anyone know what speaker wire harness adapter (Metra style) is needed so you don't have to cut the wire?

If you did cut, what was the pairing for the four front speaker wires?

Front is 5.25" and Rear 5.25" with a lot of depth. The tweeter is about 1.75"

I'm getting ready to put a full sound system in. I formally was in the industry for 10 years. This will be for function not show but i'll show my install as i go.

The front is going to need a 3/4" spacer and the rear looks like 1.5".

I added pics to guide you in disassembly . Excuse the hands, i'm in the middle of painting my house.

This is with the rear carpet of the crew cab removed. Im going to install the amps on the passenger side. Need to get a little creative but i have an idea how to make it clean and maybe retain the original carpet. Anyhow this is what's behind there.

OC4095s panel photos was big help when i replaced mine.
Thess photos are inital setup before I phase checked so dont use my wiring as confimation. I also replaced the wire nuts with disconnects. I plan to drive the wheels off so i didn't mind trashing the OE speakers for their adaptors. It would be hard to fab ones that works as well with the door panels.

Hertz DSK 165.3 front DCX 165.3 rear (6.5")

I plan to do the same thing but in doing some research I found a lot of recommendations to add a Digital Signal Processor between the factory radio and external speakers to remove the factory radio's built in processing. Will you be doing this in your build especially for the subwoofer?
That brings up another question about whether there is room near the factory head unit for a processor to be wired in?

Yeah im looking at an audio control processor. I would prefer an aux input to completely bypass the head unit. I also ran speaker wire to all 4 doors, just in case something else is connected to those wires. I've seen this before. Im very tempted to build a riser off that pocket on top to put a KNOB eq but that makes for visable theft item.

Edit: I found a nice spot below the passenger dash for the processor. Seems to be a lot of unused space.

I was told it's the metra 72-5602, I have not tested myself, but when I do, that's what I plan on using, it might be a veryyyyy long time.

Where did you buy your spacers? You have a link for those?

I made the decision that if I ever sold the truck id let the speakers go with it. I gutted the factory speakers to use as adapters. It worked well, the fronts are angled and seal to the door panel. Use the same allows for a perfect fit. Dremel, spiral bit and some sandpaper will do the trick.

Wow looking forward to seeing this come together! Seems like the first full replacement of components on the ranger. Curious what the cross over specs are on that Hertz front stage???

Is this with the 8" sync3 radio? Did you have the phases right? Would you be willing to post a more detailed description of installation...kinda hard to tell exactly which wires are which from pics. I am wanting to install an amp using speaker level inputs (using wires from speakers w/o removing head unit) and running output wires from amp back to speakers. Talked to a "professional installer today and he said that might cause problems. He hasn't worked with a new Ranger but he said all of the other newer vehicles he has had to add a LOC/DSP (around $200 worth) to get things to work. Sorry, just trying to gather some more info. Thanks.

I'm trying to get the rear door panel back on. Can anyone tell me the secret for re-connecting the door latch cable? It seems like it goes in place but keeps disconnecting when I start to attach the panel to the door. Help needed!
