Front is 5.25" and Rear 5.25" with a lot of depth. The tweeter is about 1.75"

I'm getting ready to put a full sound system in. I formally was in the industry for 10 years. This will be for function not show but i'll show my install as i go.

The front is going to need a 3/4" spacer and the rear looks like 1.5".

I added pics to guide you in disassembly . Excuse the hands, i'm in the middle of painting my house.

This is with the rear carpet of the crew cab removed. Im going to install the amps on the passenger side. Need to get a little creative but i have an idea how to make it clean and maybe retain the original carpet. Anyhow this is what's behind there.

I imagine there would be room for the amp where they mount it for the b&o?

I will be putting a 12" or 10" on the drivers side between seats in a custom box.

I'm really looking forward to your build. I have an Audio Control D-4.800 thats sitting on my work bench and looking for a home. I was thinking the Ranger would be a good spot for it. Can't wait to see your build,, good luck and have fun!

Yeah the trick is to pull fast and not follow through. Kind of the opposite of sports. If you pull slow and use a lot of force its way easier to break stuff. However it's not uncommon to break a snap, it happens. Pulling them off early is a plus, it makes them much easier to get off without breaking stuff as the vehicle ages. This comes from 10 years of experience pulling apart car trims every day. I wanted to post pics so at least you know where the snaps are, its way scarier not knowing where it comes apart. I didn't exactly know so I said a few prayers. LOL.

I can't wait to see your mounting solutions for the new door speakers and the tweeters! When I pulled the panel and saw the proprietary speaker mount thing I cringed. I was hoping it would be as simple as bolting in a new speaker.

Does your seat back lock back into place? I looked at mine today and it looks like no room at all.

Can you get the part number of that sail panel speaker cover? It should be printed on it.

Does anyone know what speaker wire harness adapter (Metra style) is needed so you don't have to cut the wire?

If you did cut, what was the pairing for the four front speaker wires?
