New truck, new member

Hi guys. I’m the new owner of a 2023 Ranger Tremor. I have been really happy with it so far. I like to hunt and fish and have always owned trucks but a divorce forced me into something more affordable so drove a gmc terrain for a while. Son totaled his car on the way home from college, so the Terrain went to him and I bought the truck. My first car was a 1991 ford ranger I bought new for $11,000 lol. My vehicle choice has come full circle. I’ve been a lurker for a while and have some questions I’d like to post so signed up.

Yeah, i posted my first question on a "mice in my cab" thread. Would love to buy a front receiver from HeavyDuty if he is still making them. I want to be able to mount a winch when I travel out west to hunt. Permanently installing one in Illinois with our winters just leads too a ruined winch in short order.

lol, that's been gone for a while once I got my plates. front and back plates are required in Illinois. I should have blurred that out, do not recommend the dealer.

Welcome John! My first car was ALSO a 1991 Ford Ranger. Forest Green 4x4 XL. Though, mine was bought well loved in the year 2000.

I found a pic of my first ranger. I started working on a dairy farm in 8th grade for $3 per hour. By the time i was a senior i was able to buy this brand new. I eventually got my dads F150 after he passed and my sister put over 300,000 miles on it. As far as reliability, it was the best vehicle i ever owned.
