the pricing structure at Chevy is so bad that they don't even PRETEND to be competitive with the Ranger until you reach the $45000 mark.
Check and see what Chevy offers at entry level... NO CONTEST!
You can buy an XL level Ranger with Performance and mechanicals more capable than Chevy's top of the line.
If you overlook a few trinkets, the Ranger wins hands down and you get to keep at least enough cash in your wallet to give you hip dysplasia on the trip home from the dealer!.
The difference is even more pronounced on the 2WD XL series....Yep. Although 34.6k isn't cheap by any means, the Ranger STX was an excellent value in today's market.
Absolutely. Some people's most basic spec is a King Ranch. I am hoping that the desirability of the 4wd / crewcab will pay for itself if the Ranger is sold one day.The difference is even more pronounced on the 2WD XL series....
At $25,500 my STX 2WD SuperCab just absolutely blew the competition out of the water.
Add to that the clearly superior build quality, power and reliability and it makes you wonder how the others ever sell a single truck.
Then add to that the (subjective) great looks!
Hope so, for your sake, but you will need to sell it in the first five years for that to be true...Absolutely. Some people's most basic spec is a King Ranch. I am hoping that the desirability of the 4wd / crewcab will pay for itself if the Ranger is sold one day.
1) No, actually no Ranger has a "auto locker" it is manually engaged with a button.Sorry, just saw this. so do all the ranger 4x4 models come with auto lockers?
I have the XL with the STX Special Edition, not an FX4..
