Does this intercooler mount to the stock pipes without changing the clamp style?

I ask because I have the AFE pipes that connect with the stock intercooler so I am hoping the Mountune would work with the AFE pipes
I spoke with mountune last week when I purchased my intercooler and they are currently working on thier own pipe set up. No problems here, I feel a bit more power, I ordered it on Thursday, and I received it next day. Im here in Cali.

Is the turbo louder? I know I already asked this before but I didn’t get a definitive answer.
You could go grill less with that meaty intercooler

Do either of you guys have a tune on your truck with this upgrade? I would love to see some data on the factory intercooler vs. Mountune air intake temps/pressure drop.

Haven't logged it, but I'm on the ford performance tune. Bought the mountune mostly because I am carrying quite a bit of extra weight.. Skids, sliders, front bumper and winch, rack and rtt hah

I'm from the tuner world and typically you needed a tune to run a larger charge intercooler. Wouldnt that be the case here?

I am running a 5Star tune but I have no clue if a tune is needed. I would assume not. It is not allowing for more airflow. It is simply keeping the incoming air cooler. No change in flow but a tuner I am not nor am I from the tuner world.
No where on the site did it say tune require.

Just ordered one of these for 20% off on the Black Friday sale - great deal.

Not sure when I'll put it on, but the price is definitely good right now.
Well that had me sold, thanks to your post I got one too ha

I've found a local listing for this intercooler for half the price. I want it for the sake of having an "upgrade" and tinkering. Im have 97k of trouble free miles on my Ranger and I don't want that to change.

Does this fit without any modifications? Once the grill is off and stock intercooler is out, does it fit right in? Any drawbacks to daily driving?
