Got my new Levels Performance Intercooler installed fits perfect. Super easy install literally bolts up no modifications needed. Way bigger core then the factory core. Will soon be working with Torrie on my tune to revise it for the new Intercooler should be able to make some more power thanks to the more efficient cooler. If you are interested in getting one yourself you can contact him through Instagram @levelsperformance I’ve had his products on past cars and quality is superb! Also with enough interest he might start making cat- less downpipes for us as well.

That's really beautiful. But how much more efficiency can be achieved? Right now, unless the IC is heat soaked while parked, I see normal spread of <5-10 degrees between in and out.

I wish he would make a replacement tube that goes from the air filter box to the turbo. Only item that there isn't a complete replacement for.

Very sharp! Love the look of the upgraded intercoolers, especially with the hood open. We offer an intercooler upgrade with charge pipes for the 2.3L in the Mustang and it's been a great addition along with the Evenflo cooler thermostats to help fight how quickly these 4 cylinder turbo platforms get heat soaked and lose power. I'd love to see some before and after dyno pulls on the Ranger to see how well they help compared to the other 2.3L models. Thanks for sharing!

Any opinions?

Tough to say since we've not yet had one here in the shop with an aftermarket intercooler to really have a before / after comparison on the dyno. I know some of the 2.3L Mustang guys have claimed seeing upwards of 30°F–35°F drop in outlet temperatures after installing upgraded intercoolers. Not really 100% apples to apples being a different application of course.

Been super tied up but got some quick logs for you guys so it was 82 degrees out the other night cruising at 80mph the highest it got was 86 but mainly stayed at 82-84. I did a pull from 20-80 and the highest it got up to was 87 degrees but quickly dropped back down to 82-84 again. Also sitting in traffic the highest it got was 93 degrees.

Do you feel a difference using it?
The truck for sure is a lot more consistent and constantly delivers power just need to get with Torrie on revising the tune to get more out of it but for sure worth it even if just keeping stock. Before after a couple times getting on it you could really feel the difference now you can’t.

Can you get a shot of it when you are hard in the throttle?
4.5 psi certainly wouldn't stress the stock inter cooler.

Isn't the temp sensor in the airbox or is there another one?
