I’m Northwest of Boston inside 495. Are you going to keep the Rubicon stock? I think I was asking too much of the MOPAR lift which lead to most of my issues. Plus, that auto in your Jeep is great. As much as I’m a manual fan, I’d take your transmission any day for road trips.

Stock?? I already had rock sliders sent to the dealer so they could install them. Lol

I’m not sure how much I’ll do to it yet. It’s my first Jeep and if I really like it I’m sure I’ll get a lot more stuff for it. Right now just the sliders and some inside accessories.
Yes the 8 speed tranny shifts really nice on the ones I test drove here.

Thanks, that’s good to know Kent. I know comfort is subjective and I’ll have about 4 months before leaving. Maybe we’ll take a weekend trip up to Sedona or Flagstaff to get a better idea on the ride comfort. It’s only a couple hour drive but in my Tacoma my back would be aching by the time we got there.

I hope it works out well for you and yours. Many times it is a "longest" trip to get where there is great 4-wheeling areas and if you can be comfortable on the pavement driving there, the trip becomes even more enjoyable.

Love the Sedona area and I have an old friend living about 20 miles east of Flagstaff in the Sheba Crater area. Great country!

Finally heard from the transporter today. They've been delayed with the storms on the east coast but will be picking it up tomorrow and will be here Monday or Tuesday. I had one of the guys on the JL forum take some better pictures for me, he was there today picking his up

The new sliders I bought I had them directly shipped to the dealer. They were only charging me $65.00 for the instal and for that price it wasn't worth messing with them. Plus the neighbors kids wouldn't hear a bunch of new swear words echoing from my garage. ?

Finally heard from the transporter today. They've been delayed with the storms on the east coast but will be picking it up tomorrow and will be here Monday or Tuesday. I had one of the guys on the JL forum take some better pictures for me, he was there today picking his up
