I have an XL, so I don't have a screen like that. BUT ... I do get FordApp notices saying it's going into deep sleep and disabling remote start and other features.

I've had these messages since I first got my truck just over a year ago but the battery has not died yet.

If you can, I really like using a battery tender on mine and I plug it in a few times a month.

If you were to check battery voltage before starting the truck after it sits overnight, you will most likely see the battery voltage near or below 11.5 volts.
I did an extensive research thread on the charging system.

Other signs that the battery is failing are:
ASS stops working.
Passive Entry stops working - at the Drivers / Passenger Doors
Remote Start - stops working
Deep Sleep - messages from Ford Pass

If you are in the excessive heat wave, note AGM Batteries do not perform well with constant high heat.

Try giving the battery a good charge (external charger) or replace the battery,

Some have disabled the BMS, and it appears to help keep the battery charged better.

Mine did that a lot more when new. It has been a while since I've seen that screen. Mine sort of did the opposite of what it should do; unless it took a really long time to get the battery up to a normal charge after it got off the delivery truck.

It means you are seeing the effects of a battery and charging system that is set to too low of a charging state by the factory. I used Forscan to reset mine to 90% of potential charge and I have never seen that message again... Factory setting is 75%, way too low.

Had the same thing but the battery was fine. Got a software update from Ford while doing service and the message never came back.

Use the same product on our ranger and bs-ob, one for each and hard wired to battery with external connections. on managements bs I have to loop the wire through the door handle so it’s disconnected before backing out of the garage. Guess we’re getting trained for if we ever go ev ?
