The key phrase here " If done properly "As a retired tech. I have done many bg brand flushes. It's a positive replacement system. You fill the bladder with 15 qts of fluid, then when the trans pumps it out the bladder pushes in the fresh fluid. If done properly it is impossible to over fill a trans.
no pan drops right out, did you have a flush done or pan drop filter change ?I dunno! It crosses right across the front bottom of the trans pan, so did they need to get that out of the way to do the fluid flush?
Same. I didn't mind going every 10k for an oil change and tire rotation for warranty purposes for $59, I'd do it every 5k in between myself, but when they raised it to $79 I said screw it I'll just do it myself, keep the receipts, and take a picture of the odometer. And to think I stopped going to my dealer because they started charging $35 extra for a tire rotation with The Works. Also, I'm lucky that I have a good mechanic 2 blocks from my house. But then again, I've many stories of issues with dealer's service departments.

I was not kind to them when I did their customer survey. In return they gave me 6 months of SiriusXM that I did not want or use. SiriusXM was not happy when I told them I did not ask for or want their service. And I change my oil every 3000.Same. with these trans flushing is not a good idea .. the solenoids get screwed, up the filter in these trans are a monster with a magnet in side of the filter so when you flush yo kinda wash dirt off of the magnet 30k pan drop and filter after that you can miss a filter change at 60Flush supposedly.
Regular dealer service. Is this the dealership or a Ford Quick Lane attached to the dealership? I'm not sure I'm going to use Quick Lane again after I took our Mazda B-Series and it broke down on the way home for the first time ever due to dirt in the air filter during their shoddy oil change. But the scheduled maintenance at the dealership has been fine...
