I went livernoise as well (actually in process, got the tuner but haven’t applied it) saving it for when my warranty finally expires (I have the long bumper to bumper warranty think it’s like 90-100k or something) once that’s up then I’ll apply the tuner since it’ll be out of pocket expenses at that point to repair anything that happens ?. Livernoise folks seem really nice too.
Heard something about livernoise having something to do with assisting in development of the ford performance tune (not sure if that’s true but I’d like it to be ?.)
Saving it? Load a tune and start enjoying it lol. You’re gonna love it! You’ll thank me later?

I've heard from good authorities that the 10R80 can handle over 1,000 hp without any issues...go for it...

Update!

I decided to go with Revolution tune. I Love it so far!
The truck runs awesome with all the bolt on mods. It like brings it all together.

I went with Revolution because Badranger and trade his Ranger for an F150 and made me a deal on his tuner. He gave me his contact Adam, and I reached out to him about my mods and tune. He sent me a custom tune for my truck and was very informative to me.
I run a 93-performance tune daily. I also have an 87 tune that I have not tried out yet!
I got that just in case gas get back up to high!

If you are looking for a tune, consider checking Revolution out!
You can find there contact info on FB. I believe one of their guys are on the Ranger forum!
Not affiliated with them! Just happy customer...

I just uploaded an 87 octane, daily driver with towing tune from 5 Star tunes, which is the same I run in my Superduty Godzilla. Both trucks have gained 2 mpg with 5 Star tunes.

2 weeks into using my Livernois tow tune as daily. Love it, feels stronger and shifts more decisively. If it's all smooth from here on, i'll keep it as I tow a 5k lbs trailer, but I might try the performance one soon. Very happy with the Livernois product overall.

I am using the FORD tune and I have no complaints. Also, I use the "tow" mode almost always. I got a deal as I had points that paid for it and I liked the limited warranty that came with it.

I would also recommend Revolution Auto tune; Adam has been on point with helping me get the tune just right

I've had the FP tune and the Unleashed tune. The FP is good, and works pretty well. The Unleashed is leaps and bounds better, and gives a lot better shifting from the transmission.

Given that the Unleashed is considerably cheaper than the FP, I recommend it. If warranty is your concern, stick with the FP.

I mainly daily the Livernois Tow Tune and sometimes the Performance Tune. I have no issues with them but I am going to try the Revolution tune as soon as I find a good deal on a SCTx4 here in Canada. I've been bugging MIke on FB messenger and he is always quick to reply to my questions.

You will NOT regret it. Been running the 91-93 tune and love it! I often run it with factory tow mode and like the way it shifts. I easily get sub 6 second 0-60 runs. I also have the dual rear exit Gibson exhaust and am convinced I got another 5-10HP. Love my set up.
Sorry, I forgot to update my post!
I did get a tune, but badranger made me a hell of a deal on the Revelution tune! (well, I still had to get it programmed for my mods!) He decided to leave us Rangers and step up to the F150.
Wow! what performance diffence! Well worth it! I did have to give up a little gas mileage but I think
that is because I can't keep my foot out of it! It just wants to go now...
So Far no regrets. It's doing what I wanted...
