They were high from the Love Shack Baby
The brunette girl was the most lucid, though her hair was fire engine red instead of brunette.

Now there's some photos to use in ads for the Long Range American 37 gal. fuel tanks.... as a gas station looks to be a furr distance off... I reckon...
We were not *that* far from fuel, but I made sure we went out with a full tank. The trail loop we did is only something like 9 miles all in, but we went through a quarter tank of fuel to do it. Super fun trail, pushed the limits of what the ranger could handle.

Next to the curb! =D

This morning at work in the prime spot and nice and close to that curb.

Then at lunch, I did it again! =p

I have enough dings from stoopid acorns, so ya know ...

Side benefit: since I put so few miles on Soupie, maybe sidewall wear will happen faster than tread wear and I can get those nATs that I constantly harp about! =D

This is the life I live. lol. I'm approaching 5 years without a single dent or scratch on my Supercab STX, though. I barely drive it so that helps to keep it in good shape.

Next to my driveway!

And why is that significant? Well, only to me ... but ... you all know that Soupie's mileage comes from driveway shuffles. And that usually means under our giant red oak. We love the tree, it keeps the house shaded all summer long. And its leaves drop for winter sun (and of course, an opportunity to use the Billy Goat lawn vac and make many, many dump runs!). =p

I have a zillion (maybe 18) acorn dents. Yes, the little acorns that squirrels eat make visible dents in the Ford Ranger. Right now none are falling, but right now little tiny sap droplets coat Soupie. So much so that you can feel them as you glide your hand over the obligatory 303 Graphene coating. =D

My solution, after much gnashing of teeth, is to go with "grass pavers". I was going to just do gravel because that's what I know from growing up, but these pavers may even be easier.

Supposedly they need no excavation. Just wait for a rain or soak the bejeezus out of the area. I'll probably rent a 200# plate compactor (need one for another job anyway) and smash them into the ground.

I have no allusions as to its look, I think the black plastic will be fairly visible and the grass under the truck will be starved for light (although, I now go to the office 3 days a week).

I dunno, but my lazy ass pulled the trigger and ordered them today ...

the grass ain't all that great to start with ...

LOL, probably what it will always look like!

I'll take pics when I do this and let y'all know how it goes. I'm curious as to how the snow thrower does. At least it won't be spitting out gravel and breaking neighbors' windows.

I don't need a city permit and this isn't suppose to increase my "permeability" tax (what a racket that is!). It's also pretty economical and the no digging part is appreciated by my back and shoulders.

Who would have ever thought that pounding gobs of plastic into your lawn would be considered environmental?!?

Yep. A nice little summer storm. And I did get the ranger in the barn just in time, but not in time to get back to the house.
