I agree that your opinion and your snarky comments are part of the "game."

I'm fly. I'm pilot.
Just to give you something to think about, I've considered a marine "above deck tank" housed in small tool chest within the bed. Toolbox could hold simple siphon pump hose and be quick released in an out of bed.

This one is 18 gal. and 28x15x15, is EPA compliant and vented

Could be done fairly cheap, especially if one already had a chest to use. Tank is less than $400.
The bed is already small enough...

roof mount? I know you're designing a roof rack.
I was toying around with the idea of mounting something on the bottom side, so the ceiling of the platform. I should have enough room after I design a telescopic ladder holder under there.

All ideas in my head at this point. There are some, uh, hurdles if I go that route, like if I mount it upside down, how do I access and hook up to the spout without dumping a bunch of gas. How do I refill it? etc etc

Yea that might be a tough one.

The more likely answer is roof mounted ontop of the platform in a ventilated box of some sort to keep sun off it.

I could just be billy badass and install a nudge bar and front bumper mount them. Cause what could go wrong?

Airbags? More like boom bags!

Hence the quick release.

Different activities require different equipment. Extra fuel for range is not always needed.

Selecting the proper load out is key in planning any trip.

I prefer the WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE! load out for everything.

That load-out consists of all other load-outs combined down to a box full of fidget spinners for when you wait on your nuclear squirrel to cook up on open flame.

Some are built for comfort, others are built for speed. Yours might be built for both, but I think even with a rack as big as yours you're gonna need a trailer for that one.
