I’m not sure what’s triggering me more - those upper cabinets or the mismatched, misaligned, and upside down wall receptacles. ?
What, you didn't mention the gap in the floor tiles on the left and the crooked framing of the picture!

Even twins separated at birth disagree on some things. But, I bet we also agree on this - when changing the audio volume on our Rangers you should never ever adjust to an odd number. It must always be at an even number. Adjust up or down to always leave it on an even number.
Of course, everyone does that also when parking making all the valve stems on tires pointing to the six o'clock position. Can be very difficult but you do what you have to do.

When I bought my house in AZ one of the garage gfci plugs were ivory. Someone must of forgot to change out the temp. construction one and just stuck a while plate on it and called it a day. The first owner (obviously NOT OCD) left it! It was the first thing I noticed when I drove into the garage because of course it was right on the back wall. o_O Needless to say it was replaced that very first day as it stuck out like a sore thumb! Now I was able to live there happily ever after.:captain:?

BTW those receptacles are right. Some states here (CT I know does) require them to be that way with the ground facing up. Also in AZ every bedroom and living room will have one outlet like this. Those are all connected to a wall switch so you can just hit the switch and turn on a lamp.

When I lived in New Brunswick, there were a number of “upside down” plugs. I quickly realized it was only the “switched“ plugs - a common practice in the province. I swapped out all the old school toggles and clown faces for Decora switches and plugs and, yes, I made sure the switched plugs were oriented the same as all the others and also that the slots in the faceplate screws were all vertically aligned.

When I was in High School I Took Industrial Vocational Electricity, in one instance, I was tasked to operate 4 lights from 2 Positions… When my instructor came to inspect, I asked if I got an A, he said “ No a C, I said why, he said, because your switches say No and Foo instead of On and Off” …..

I can't stand pictures or paintings that hang crooked on the wall. I can't tell you how many times I have straightened them somewhere where I have no business touching people's pictures or paintings. One day while waiting for our church service to start, there were two paintings hanging slightly crooked and it was driving me crazy. I got up in front of everybody, who probably wondered what the hell I was doing, and straightened them. I could here mumbles of thanks and relief. One guy even got up and straightened another one that I didn't notice.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around dual exhaust for a 4 cylinder. Sort of makes me want to install a Thrush Glasspack on my mower.
Build your own glasspack like this guy!

It's all about the symmetry for me. I can't stand the look of that one pipe sticking out the right side. Plus I wanted that tiny little extra thrust of the pipes pointing straight back.
(I also can't stand the offset license plates on the Mavericks.)

Ditto, I wish Ford did this for the exhaust. I like how the bumper has "cutouts" for proper placement of the tips.
