Anyone know if these will work on the US rangers? Not sure if there are any differences in headlight/fender trim that would make this incompatible with the US rangers.

There is at least one person on here who has something similar, if not that same thing, installed on their Ranger. Unfortunately I don't remember the person, thread, or details. I'm sure a big help, eh. haha Hopefully someone else can chime in with that info.

As noted, one poster here has tried them.

Shape offers acceptable, not perfect fit.
Wiring plugs not the same.
One mounting tab has nothing to bolt to.

The lights are probably workable, but a LONG way away from plug and play, perfect fit.

It sounds like you may be talking about the Mustang style lights? Everything you said is true for those. But these are just stick-on surrounds for the headlights, not a full headlight assembly swap.

I'm surprised there isn't more info on the forum for these stick-on surrounds. Seems like this would have been something others would have tried out by now. I just can't see paying $2000+ for the Lariat headlights (or put another way 8% of the cost of my truck). i'd rather stick these on and update to LED High/Low bulbs.

At least for me personally, the DRL LED strip is the least desirable part of the Lariat housing. The projector aspect is the part I want.

As far as these stick-on surrounds though, I think they look better than the Lariat hockey stick shaped ones. They'd probably be perfect to me if they came in amber. Especially with my Raptor-style grille lights.

Pretty sure they come in amber as well. Now just waiting to see about fitment.

Can't tell from your picture but if you have a hood deflector you might want to look closely at the pictures again. I think the lights overlap the hood gap enough on top to not work.

....for anyone who may be interested, I finally installed the DRL LED headlight trim.
The bad: Fitment/quality isn’t the best, but once installed it doesn’t look too bad. The bezel touches the hood (so I doubt it would work with a hood/bug deflector). It also doesn’t follow the curves of the headlight perfectly causing part of the trim to kind of stick up, but not too noticeable. The wiring is really thin, so you got to be careful not to break it. They stick out a little further than I’d like when viewing from the side of the truck.
The good: the leds are bright and are a solid light (i.e. you can’t see individual LEDS). The black bezel looks good. The wife liked them. They only cost $55

Not sure how you have them wired in, but it looks like they may over power and hide the turn signal with them lit. I know some vehicles turn the DRLs off on one side when turning to avoid that. My old Jimmy did it. May be a Forscan setting.

Good point, I noticed when installing that they do partially cover up the turn signals; however, I think enough light is still able to get through so that they are pretty visible. In the prior photos they are in the ā€˜dim mode’, but when actually using the blinker they come through a lot more.
Next thing I’ll probably look into is to see if the trim alters the low/high beams any. By that I mean if it cuts off any of the light being projected. I don’t anticipate any issues there though.
