Okay as the split starts to narrow, 48.9% yes to 51.7% no, I really have to think the majority of the people who have never had a problem, dont really pick up on this topic as they scan down the list of topics.

It happens to me, I only see the subjects that trigger my interest. It's a long list, it can slowly scroll along as different topics float to the top, there are many topics in many categories, unless it really jumps out at you, you just naturally click on the one that does.

I really believe the numbers would be further apart in a different format, or if I had worded it differently, as Dave pointed out you should not form too stiff of an opinion based on this poll, this is under 200 responses in a pool of over 15,000+ members.

Dave....
Edit the title if you can, I'm thinking either simply adding the word "never" or completely change it to "5G Ford warranty poll, your vote counts!" what do you think too cheesy?

Probably better to end this and maybe start over.

I could edit it but the numbers will still be off without adding more choices to the poll. You almost need sub choices like major work or minor quick repairs.

It's run it course, the numbers are already stacked heavily on the yes side, starting over would be better, a fresh start.

I probably wont, food for thought for somebody though!

Well all wasn't wasted. It still gives us a good idea on how many went back for some kind of warranty service. Plus many stated what it was (major or minor) so it does help to see if there were any reoccurring issues.

Not counting the recall for the taillight, I had the vibrating speedometer needle problem. It went away on its own. Now that my three years are up I am waiting for it to come back.

Drove off the dealer lot new in October 2022. 8900 miles so far, no issues. Fingers crossed. I really love this truck and will be disappointed if something goes wrong even if it's covered by the warranty. I did get an extended warranty good for 75,000 miles and my dealer offers the "Forever Warranty" for free on the engine and drive train but of course all service must be done by the dealer and it has to be done by the book, which I would do any way. I'm sorry to hear about other people's misfortunes with their trucks. They are an absolute blast to drive. Speaking of warranties, I'd love to see what a tune would do, I just couldn't imagine what these things are like with even more power.

I am seriously getting worried about this.... my hyundais did better than this BY FAR. What the hell Ford. I would have already traded mine in but I can't pay cash for a new car and the banks are screwed atm.

Came here to unfortunately change my vote from NO to YES..

Bad driveshaft center bearing. 38k. Backordered with no ETA.

Lame. Can't get an inspection sticker with a shitty center bearing.. which mine just ran out.. and the dealer doesn't want to give me a loaner ?‍♀

I missed the voting window, but I had to get leaking seals for the AC system replaced and the system recharged in the first 6 months.

I was wondering, my is back again, fairly long list, trans, Sync, brakes, belt trim, door handle, console lid, the common ones, it's 22k now, and this is the 3rd time back.

I absolutely love the truck, I would even buy it again knowing I could have some problems, it's perfect for me, hauls ass, gets good MPG, drives like a small car, fits in compact parking spots, really important here overcrowded So Cal, it's just a great truck in my opinion, except the laundry list of warranty repairs, unfortunately I have a opposite example in the driveway, the wife and kids have all driven Honda's for years and they rarely go back for warranty work.

With all the Ford quality issues in the media these days, Farley barking at the workers to do a better job, also blaming it on parts supply issues and supplier quality, and all the recalls as well, it's a little frustrating when your vehicle mfg is in the news so much.

So I just got to wondering how this group does, is it one out of ten, one out of a hundred that has had to go back?

I started out just to ask a question, but then I thought "why not try the poll thing" never did one before, so here it goes!
2019 XLT with sport trim package. 50,000 miles. Only issue so far was for the inline electrical connector terminals for the tail lamps may be misaligned or not properly seated, re-pinned into a replacement connector. Love the truck. 3rd Ranger since 1989.

Im taking my truck in Tuesday for blend door. I also noticed shifting getting a little rough again. Also noticed a smell from tranny that I had before when it was failing.
