How long did your original battery last?

just replaced after 6 yrs. ASS stopped working about 18 months ago (never used anyway)
intelligent Access stopped about 1 yr ago except for the driver's door. also lost the ability to see the truck on the Ford APP about a year ago. new battery and all is good.

just replaced mine a little under 5 years

CarPlay stopped working when I got a new iPhone and nothing would charge with USB ports. Head unit kept powering off randomly and restarting.

new battery from Costco and not a single problem

I’d put money on a parasitic draw somewhere, even if the shop didn’t spot it right away. My Ranger had a slow drain that only showed up after it sat overnight. I used a small tester I’d originally bought for button cells like the ones similar to an lr1130 battery equivalent, and it helped me rule out a bad fob battery before chasing wiring. A proper draw test with the truck asleep might point you in the right direction.
