I am really confused. You are asking about removing the battery, putting in a new headlight, and having to tilt the unbolted battery. And what was the problem that was a result of not asking your 10 yr old neighbor girl to help. Really vague.did any one have to remove the battery. Then have a proplem.I have 2020 ranger and had to put in a new headlight. And almost asked my 10yr old neighbor to do it.My hand was too big so i unbolted the battery hold down to tilt the battery.

with modern car computers if you take the battery out all the memory is lost in the main computer. They do make a memory saver. But i don't have 1. I needed to replace the drivers side bulb but the battery was in the way.If i could remove the battery it would be alot easier. All i could do was take the bolt out of the hold down.So i could tilt the battery to fit my hand into the headlight pocket.I wanted to know if anyone removed their battery and had a problem reinstalling itI am really confused. You will have to reteach the driver's side window positions so that the auto up/down will work again. The window relearn procedure is in the owner's manual. Engine and transmission strategy will have to relearn also but will automatically update themselves. Removing the battery should not cause any big issues.with modern car computers if you take the battery out all the memory is lost in the main computer. They do make a memory saver. But i don't have 1. I personally have had the negative battery terminal off on my 2019 XLT multiple times. The most recent was while replacing my headlights. I have experienced no issues with doing that. The only issues I have heard with anyone doing that is having to reset the driver side window auto up down function. I did not even have to do that, as I have a module that gives me that function as well as being able to open and close my windows with my fob.with modern car computers if you take the battery out all the memory is lost in the main computer. They do make a memory saver. But i don't have 1.
