By the way, I contacted Redline on April 11th to ask if they had anything for the Ranger since Ford decided to drop them. The only response I got was "Interesting. We'll look into this". That was from Brian. Never heard anything back but I'm glad they came through.

I knew I slipped up as soon as I said it but it’s like trying to take back diarrhea. I’ll take her out to dinner, buy a bottle of wine, and after she’s had a few I’ll start shopping for bed extenders.

Super easy. Remove two fender bolts and screw in lower ball mounts. Insert upper ball mounts in square hole holes in hood and attach struts. There’s an installation instruction PDF on the web site

Based on the feedback from other users on the thread and my own experience, Redline Tuning makes a quality product. I have had their Hood Struts on my Mustang for over 10 years with zero issues.

sell everything you take off and replace. upgrade wheels, sell the old ones, upgrade shocks sell the old ones, install a damper, well you only need one arm now anyways. ?

In my experience based on my two other cars, gas struts seem to last somewhere north of 110K miles ...my Ranger is around 90K...

Sounds like my ex is her name Melissa by any chance? She would have a closet full of cloths and half would still have the tags on them. She'd either sell them cheap or give them away to her friends because when she finally got around to trying them she didn't like most of them.
