No doubt, but frankly all I cared about was the massive bump in torque I got. I bought my cover before I even knew about the water problem in #4.It's not just about water diversion, it's the massive infusion of horse power the cover adds.......![]()
I went out and confirmed the puddle of water was on top of the number 4 coil pack (all I could do yesterday at the car wash was feel the water, too bright outside to see in the engine compartment much at all). So my cover doesn't extend back far enough to catch and divert water that comes off that center clip and drips down on the number 4 spark plug, coil pack, etc.
Since there already is a simple fix with the split insulation, I think I will try an incredibly more complex fix and add a "rain gutter" to my cover. I just hope I don't eliminate all that extra torque doing it.
