It's not just about water diversion, it's the massive infusion of horse power the cover adds.......:like:
No doubt, but frankly all I cared about was the massive bump in torque I got. I bought my cover before I even knew about the water problem in #4.

I went out and confirmed the puddle of water was on top of the number 4 coil pack (all I could do yesterday at the car wash was feel the water, too bright outside to see in the engine compartment much at all). So my cover doesn't extend back far enough to catch and divert water that comes off that center clip and drips down on the number 4 spark plug, coil pack, etc.

Since there already is a simple fix with the split insulation, I think I will try an incredibly more complex fix and add a "rain gutter" to my cover. I just hope I don't eliminate all that extra torque doing it. :)

Make sure you add a Leaf Filter or Gutter Guard to your rain gutters...keep those pesky leaf's and pine needles from corrupting your engine !!!

Great idea. I think I will wait until I have the kinks worked out and am sure the thing will stay put on the cover, then I will call one of the leaf filter guys who advertise on TV locally offering free estimates to get the leaf guard installed professionally.... :)

Nice spot to reheat a gas station burrito or slow bake a potato. Just need a small dish to attach to the top of the cover.
YES. Perfect for that camping trip where I've run out of propane or that gas station pit stop!
