Think of it as a "motivator" instead of a curse 😁

You're going to love the improvement and wish that it had failed sooner 🤪
That shipping time though, I ordered them yesterday around 2pm

Hehe. I ordered mine from stage3, I think it was ~36-48 hours from order to delivery. It's about the only benefit of living in Midwest, shipping from pretty much anywhere in the US gets here fast.

I just put my Bilstein 4600 shocks and struts on today. It has made a great difference, the floaty/bouncy thing is gone, and there's no lean on corners whatsoever. Parking lot bumps are a little firmer, but that's more than worth the other improvements.

FWIW, if you plan on staying with stock ride height and are after Bilsteins, the 4600 and 5100 are valved the same. Confirmed from Bilstein.

Of course, 4600 fronts are out of stock nationwide and have been for some time.

Got my pool of oil at 28K.
Called dealer. Yes, it is under warranty. Bring the truck over, and leave it for the day. So we can inspect the bad part and talk to Ford. If Ford approves the replacement you can bring the truck one more time to replace the shock.
Forget it. I got 2 Bilteins 5100s, from rockauto, that got installed by the local garage in town.
Ranger rides smoothly now.
