I like going through an automatic car wash, the dash lights up like a disco dance floor.

EDIT

I find it kinda interesting how many folks here know what a disco floor lit up looks like........ just goes to show who the old folks are in here

I did wash mine the other day and the next trip I had the left rear going off in reverse. I hope it is frozen somewhere inside where I can’t see. Maybe it’ll melt and stop beeping when temperatures get above freezing in March…

The button in the middle with the “P” will turn the parking sensors on and off.

Got it! Thanks. I don't see so well reading or up close. Great driving. So could not read the display. Turned that sucker off.

Finally, exactly 8 and half months since ordering and now she is in the driveway. Can't wait to slide canoe in that six ft bed and go fishing. My golf game has suffered having to share the Honda with wife. Going golfing too.
That's why sometimes I'm glad I got the poverty Ranger (XL). Less things to go wrong lol

It really looks great James. Worth the wait. Now thicken your skin just a touch and get ready - someone on here is going to see all that chrome and crack wise.

It’s all part of the friendly banter you see on here. ?

Oh, and like @txquailguy alludes to, the sensors beep faster as you get closer - try and avoid full missile lock, would you?

Download a PDF of the owners manual. Just be warned, it was written by engineers. Thus, in this case you would need to search "parking aid". If you use "parking sensor" nothing is found. And your front sensors only work at speed below 5 mph. pg 184.

Congrats on joining the supercab club.
I just downloaded the manual. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah. I like the ability to tailor the buy to fit lifestyle. I don't need 4x4 any more. Must be able to shove a canoe in back of truck or plywood or whatever so 6 ft bed is important. Just me most of the time and back seat is for golf clubs, some tools and such - extra space goes to longer bed. This is my fourth Ranger starting with first model year. Always been happy with Ford trucks and refused their push to F-150 when they dropped Rangers. Big trucks are for guys compensating for something, lol. Just joking.

Military for three decades. Easy banter is always good. Chrome and such is what we ugly guys need to pick up chicks. Going to Kentucky Fried to get a bucket right now. lol

Both front and rear sensors go wonky when we have a heavy frost, snow or through a car wash. Living in the cold prairies the first 2 happen more than the latter. When It happens I turn off the sensors for a while. If I go through the car wash in the winter I go to the underground parking lot and go grocery shopping. Usually dry when I am finished. By the way, nice looking rig.

I was going to say this too. It lights up but it doesn't make any noise, so I assume it's because it's in neutral being pulled through.

Mine goes off almost every time I go through the car wash in the winter. I leave a blow dryer in the garage to clear the sensor. It has only happened to the left front.

Jimmy, are you in the Kings Park subdivision? Neighborhood looks familiar. I grew up there.
