Well good luck with your new truck. I personally don't like there looks. Just me but I think the Ranger is way better looking. I would probably have to put both side by side and compare them.

I'll hang around as long as I want to, thank you. If you don't want to read about my Ranger to Frontier experience, then ignore the thread! Problem solved!

What made you pull the trigger? Curious because I really like the pro-x Baja storm colored trucks a lot
Honestly, because I really liked the new styling and interior.
Additionally, I got tired of the Ranger not learning what gear it needed to be in at low speeds, then sputtering/lugging until you either floored it or downshifted manually. Lock 8-9-10 out, and you're good around the city. Highway maybe 9th.
Also, who knows where the fuel in oil dilution issue is going to be years and thousands of miles down the road.
Those are the two main things.
Ranger did have nice ride quality, and descent mpg. Never was a fan of the big bezel around the touchscreen. Seats in the Ranger were comfortable.

The Frontier's 3.8 V6 with the 9 speed doesn't do all that gear hunting and lugging. Seems to always be in the right gear.

So, far, 200 miles, getting about 26mpg. A far cry from what the previous 4.0L V6 in the prev gen Frontier could produce.

That's about it for now.

Front on, each truck has its own personality.

Frontier a little more "squarish", the the Ranger a little more rounded.

Like the Rectangular LED fog lights compared to the Rangers. (doesn't look like Ranger has LED headlights on that trim).

Not really a fan of the silver "skidplate" on the frontier, but don't some trim levels of Ranger have the same appearance? Its plastic as well on front. Lower, its metal.

Ranger has a more pronounced "bumper" than the Frontier.

The same Hankook wheels AT2 are used on BOTH models (FX2 vs Pro-x).

Both are nice looking trucks (not a fan of the Tactical Green on the Frontier, however).

There is a pent up demand for new things right now.

As I mentioned in another thread, the local Hyundai dealer is selling the Santa Cruz before they get them off the truck.

People are buying them online sight unseen.

The salesman there contacted me about a Limited that they had coming in and it sold before the truck arrived.

The summer of 2021 has arguably been the worst time to buy a car new or used.

You've now basically bought 2 new vehicles thus summer. Congrats?
