I like the design of the Frontier. I decided to see what something as close as possible would run on their Build & Price. Not that I had any intention of getting rid of my 5k mile 2021 Ranger but was curious. My Ranger sticker was $37,355, the Frontier would be $40,405.

Too bad hood wasn't up so one could witness a pickup equipped with engine cover and gas hood struts.

After reading through this thread, i happened to go to YouTube to see what was new. There was a review of the Ranger and new Frontier (makes you wonder what google does while you're surfing the Internet).

Here's the link. Interesting comparison and fairly done.

Seemed like a good comparison between the two and they weren't bias towards either. I've never driven a Frontier and of course I'm partial to the Ranger so for me it's a no brainer...A FFR!!

But the competition is good between all these mid size trucks and keeps the manufacturers on their toes. Even though I dislike the Tacoma I hope they have a good redesign for the next gen because it'll force Ford to push that much harder on the next gen Ranger.

Next to this guy at a red light. I roll down and yell “nice truck, your hood is up.” He says “ thanks but no it’s not, just how it is”.

I saw Nissan and that was enough for me, too many issues imo. Also, I believe in trying to support American companies.
I'm the very same way. People will tell you the truck is made in Tennessee, which is good, but the profits still go to Japan and not into our economy.

Well the US is indebted to Japan ($1.3B) more than to China, so some of those monies from foreign companies help to keep our economy afloat, it is after all a global economy and we need global lenders to finance our debt. Close factories in the US, buy more goods overseas and then those countries have the ability to finance our debt, makes perfect sense.

I can tell you what they do. They collect your data and sell it, use it to serve you results based on your interests (like the video you noticed), use your data to serve relevant advertisements (which is really just selling your data), sell your data, sell it again, and did I mention they sell your data? As they say, if it's free you are not the customer, you are the product.

I have had two Frontiers and liked them both very much. Great solid trucks. I also like the new Frontier styling but prefer my current Ranger hands down.

Id get the Frontier over a Tacoma any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
