I used the rough country U bolts too. 4 of them were less than 2 of the tremor U bolts. The bushing that came in mine were like new. The body bushings were fine too with 38K on them.

I've been thinking about getting a pair of these. How do they compare to just upgrading the shocks (sounds like if I get the leafs I should plan on upgrading the shocks anyway)? Does the extra weight of the leafs affect payload much?

I don't have any real complaints with the standard 4x4 suspension, but I want to see what I've been missing.

The shocks stopped the constant rocking side to side but didn't cure the hard bounce over every little bump. These reduce the bumps you feel an I don't even notice minor imperfections that used to annoy me. If I leased my truck or thought I might get rid of it any time soon I wouldn't have done the spring swap. I'm at 38K now an plan on going to 100K minimum. That's another 6 years at my current pace.

What tires are you running now? I have the leafs on order and everything else already showed up. Still need to order the coilovers and shocks kit (possibly Eibach). New tires will come after the suspension upgrades.

I may look into the SuperPro leaf bushings after all, about $100 shipped lower 48. I can't imagine much axle twist affecting handling but who knows.

Really want to avoid poly squeak - I'm curious what 'pins' will allow lubing them when needed?

As for bump stops after looking at pictures of Tremor ones in threads here I don't know if there is an effective height difference? Can any one measure theirs?

If I go all in (short of a sway bar) and get Sumo progressive rate (blues) as other members have and claim no ride degradation so goodbye more $$ just to spoil my truck.

I have the raptor bump stops which are shorter than my current bump stops on my STX. Not sure about the tenor bump stops. I order these for my install of global leafs.

Yes, I understand 2nd gen Raptor stops are the 'correct' ones. Although the Tremors use multi-leafs unlike the other US Rangers so I figured that would be suitable?

But the Sumo Springs 2nd gen Raptor version (1000 lbs) are about $400 and that'll be what I spend on the springs and U bolts alone.

Half that for the 5G Ranger blues. Gotta be a model that works closer to the $200 mark. I don't see a reason to not use the standard Ranger Sumos if the height on the Tremor is the same as the mono leaf - others who have done the swap claim to use it no problemo.

Looks like Dobinsons sells greasable poly bushings as well as the pins for our trucks: https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-rear-greasable-poly-bush-kit-ford-ranger-2019-2022/

I'm running Nitto Tera Grappler 2's in 265/70/17. They ride about like stock, have better wet grip an don't add road noise. They are about 6 pounds heavier so it may hurt MPGs. I put the Bilstein struts up front with the stock coil springs. When it's time for new struts I'm going to look into the fox coil overs

After looking at OME, APG/Deaver springs on other posts and comparing them to the globals I'm of the opinion stock height bumpstops are fine with the swap unless the stock Tremor springs are thicker and the bumpstops actually shorter - which I'm not convinced they are, though there may be some design difference. I'm curious if the Tremor springs are all that different from the globals in thickness.

I'll crawl under my 4x2 2019 and measure the stock one when things dry up a little.

Gotcha. I used the Rough Country ones. But at the time I don't think we had the Tremor part numbers.
So a good point was made concerning bump stops. I know the global leafs are very similar to the tremor leaf pack. Wondering if the raptor bump stops are the right ones to use or if we should instead use either our stock or tremor stops to prevent excessive travel. I know the global springs are not as thick as the Deavers (which use the raptor bump stops) so would it be wrong of us to use the raptor bump stops with our global springs? I’d like to compare tremor leaf height to my stock ride right now and see if there is a minor difference. If there is maybe our best bet is using the tremor stops.

Perhaps. I've definitely been into the Raptor stops and have seen no adverse effects.

Ok, that’s good to know. Really just wanted to make sure I didn’t damage anything with over travel but if you’ve hit the stops with no issues then I imagine we’re fine. Appreciate it.

Mine had the bushings in them. The rears were kinda different. They just have the rubber, no metal sleeve. The shackle bolt gets thick an acts as the sleeve.
I'm gathering parts (or potential parts) for my spring upgrade. Now I'm considering poly replacements for the bushings but figure greaseable pins are the way to go. Looks like there are universals available through places like Summit and some have metal sleeves.

So FYI, just learned from ARB/OME CS that their bushing kits do NOT fit OE springs. They are only for OME springs. So SuperPro are the only poly bushings available for OE springs.
I've been doing some looking and it appears several off road accessory shops sell poly replacements they claim are only for OEM Ford springs.

I guess Ford didn't design anything too different as far as bushing dimensions. The replacement rears typically come with sleeves and re-use the factory bolt while the fronts are available with greasable pins. Look for Rubicon Express #RE2790 and #RE1493. They appear to be universal sizes including Toyotas and Nissans besides the 5G Ranger. Also Dobinson's #PB19-1104K - but that doesn't include the greasable pins.

Getting the old bushings out of the front of the leaf and shackle might be a pain.

After some searching and buying some bushings, I settled on Superpro greaseable for the front eyes. Took a couple of weeks to get them from Australia. Since I already had the ARB/OME greaseable rears I just stayed with them. If I could start over, I would buy the complete kit from Superpro. I like how the grease fittings are protected by a recessed bolt head. If you have an air chisel the front stock bushings come out quick.
