What kind of fuel is best for the ranger. Is regular fuel good or should I use premium fuel since it had a turbo?

Since this has been beat to death on here you're going to get many different answers. 87 is the lowest recommended octane but it does run much better with premium fuel.

Thank you still kinda new to this thread much appreciated
I ran mine on 87 for the first year and it ran good. I switched over to premium a couple weeks before getting mine tuned and it does run better and it is better for it especially if you use a top tier gas. If the prices climb much higher I might just switch back over to 87 for a while myself.

This is the stuff, right here. You don’t “need“ it but your truck will run on it.

If my math is right, that's about $5 US per gallon?
Never saw 94, but we have 87,89 and 93 here in Louisiana. 93 goes for about $3.69 to $3.99.
I always run 93, get 23 - 24 MPG.

Just a tad under $5 USD. gross, but due to socialized medicine we don't lose our house if we get cancer.

Like Jim says below, just under $5 USD per US Gal.

I read somewhere that breathing in Octane 94 exhaust causes cancer.

That’s a really tough break for Taco owners.
