Sweet! Thanks man that really clears up everything

What ARB bumper are new Ranger owners using and with success? I have a bumper protection on my overland F550 that has rescued my truck from conflicts with one mule deer and an elk on two separate occasions. So I am a big believer of a protection system for the front of my trucks for remote and west travels.

Have you considered the Warn Ascent with Pre-Runner Bars? Lower profile than the ARB but still has good protection. Just throwing it out there
Yeah I actually have the warn rear bumper. I just think the front bumper looks a little too bulky and stout on the bottom compared to the ARB

Thanks for the good talk fellas. I'm definitely gonna go with the ARB Summit with IPF 968 driving lights. My local ford dealer quoted me a decent labor price. Probably need to wait until the spring tho, my state's covid restrictions going up :frown:

I went with Westin mostly because I can't afford a fancy aussie bumper. But Shrockworks is coming out with a really nice one too. No regrets here! Would be nice to have the deer bisector bars though..

Hmmm. I think they kinda look like the road armor ones.
Maybe a little but I think they’re quite different in a lot of ways. It should look basically just like the Tacoma one. I saw their shop Tacoma in person and loved the bumper. I’d have one if it would’ve come out before I bought my Warn.

Yeah that actually looks good when I see it on the tacoma. Pretty low prof. How do you like your warn bumper? I got the rear warn bumper and its sturdy as hell

I love my Warn. It’s a beast for sure and looks good too.

It does look good. I think it's a tad too bulky on the bottom for what I'm looking for but it looks good nonetheless

A lot of the lower profile bumpers lack better lines; they look like a big piece of metal squared off, which give the front end a droopier, weighed down look. It’s not a negative criticism; it’s just how my eye reacts to the lines of the bumper. Even the APG suffers from the same to me.

If there was more of an angle to them, they’d look heaps better. Something like the attached pics. All the same truck.

I agree. I think that's why I thought the westin bumpers looked good.

Are those bumpers for the Australian rangers? They look pretty awesome
